Yes, they are a ripoff

Contrary to the rebuttal extolling the virtues of MEGA Health, they are a rip off!

I had one policy with them several years ago. When my wife needed tests, MEGA gave us the old story, not covered.

We felt the problem was us, we didn't buy the proper insurance. Our fault. SO we contacted their agent, who came over and sold us another policy that he said would take care of our concerns.

Guess what? Same story. I visited my Dr last fall for a checkup re: my Blood Pressure. Even though Dr. Visits are covered, mine was NOT since MEGA said it was "pre-existing". (Sound familiar?)

My wife needs more "well testing". My agent said we were covered, but I called to make sure before we get stuck for more bills. Guess what? Not covered!

This time we get all the vague/run around language about "the State says we can't pay for tests out of this policy, so we pay for it AFTER your deductible", and other fun stuff.

They're frauds! Stay away!
