PURE claims to provide performance enhancement to athletes and others who wish to be the best. My husband signed up for personal training from a guy named Peter, who claims to be the owner, and paid several hundred dollars in advance for several sessions per week for a three month time period. At first, Peter would show up to the sessions, but after about the 4th session he made excuses or rescheduled. If my husband needed to cancel, even with advance notice, he was charged. He never returned my husbands repeated calls.
The facility is in a storefront and is a mess. There is stuff everywhere, and the place is in the middle of construction. It doesn't even have a working restroom! Its a safety hazzard to anyone who goes there. The equipment is run down and unclean. The health department is my next call.
My husband decided to go to one of the chain gyms and not only uses state of the art equipment, but also charges a reasonable price and has full time staff who are there to train and assist. It is also very clean.
