Care Credit
Had an open credit line, much to my surprise

In the process of checking my credit report in anticipation of a new home purchase, I came across a open 'Care Credit' credit line I was unaware of and have no recollection of authorizing. Fortunately, it had a zero balance, no charges, and the impact was limited to a 'Hard inquiry' on my credit report and is now closed.

I do wonder how it got there.

This was a minor problem compared to the many others here.
