I visited Celibre back in October after seeing their ad in the LA Times. It says free consultation so I called to make an appointment. The receptionist was nice and told me to have a seat and someone will be out to get me.
Five minutes later a gentleman escorted me into a small room. He then asked me what kind of work was I interested in. I told him I was interested in getting the laser for my acne and acne scars. He then proceeded to tell me the type of lasers and how many treatments I would need. He said Celibre GUARANTEES the acne will go away. He said I will still get one or two here and there but that was it. He said each laser treatment cost $800 each but they have a six laser treatment package that cost $3600.00. He said that's a saving of $1200.00. He didn't ask me to think about it but insist me to get it. He said it's a very good deal. He said I can get the treatment right after I pay for it. So, I handed him my credit card and started my first treatment.
Each treatment was scheduled once per month. I noticed a little change after the fourth treatment but it wasn't anything to talk about. After my last laser treatment they noticed I was still breaking out so they proceeded to give me additional laser treatments with no charge. All in all, they given me a total of five additional treatments but I continued to breakout.
I guess they have given up on me because they told me they are going to stop treatment and let my skin rest. They told me to call them in six months and if I don't see any improvements then give them a call. So, I waited six month from August. Fast forward to February and my face was still the same.
I called them and they told me to come down the office. I was excited because I thought they were going to continue treating me. I get there and some lady whisked me into the same room where she started telling me there's nothing more they can do for me. I said what about the guarantee? She didn't answer but said that I should be grateful they had given me five additional treatments with no charge. I said that's because I continued to breakout and they guarantee my acne will go away.
I also told her I noticed small white bumps on my chin and two brown spots on each side of my eyes. I said what about that?! I also said the agreement states that I would get YAG laser treatments for my acne scars as well. She said I can get them done but I have to pay for it. She said they will give me half off of the price. I was so upset. She had the nerve to show me some pics that they took from me and tell me there were improvements. They told me I would see a 75% improvement on my face but it was more like 10%!
I was so angry that I left in a huff. I couldn't believe it! They were quick to take my money but dumped me when they realized they no longer wanted to treat me. Not only do I still have acne but I have little white bumps on my chin and two brown spots (hyperpigmentation) on each side of my eyes.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE! Do not waste your hard earned money on these scammers! They prey on your desperation so they will tell you ANYTHING and EVERYTHING you want to hear. Do not be fooled!
