Healthy Legs accepted my email order on 12-26-06, charging my credit card on the same day. Delivery of the stock items promised for 1-4-07 (I assumed the delay was because of the holidays). On 1-16-07 customer service responded to my email order status followup advising the items were all out of stock but would be shipped by 1-24-07.
E-mailed Art Witkowski, Proprietor on 1-26-07 but received no response.
Filed a customer service report requesting the order be cancelled on 1-31-07; received acknowledgement advising order would be cancelled on 2-1-07.
So far my credit card has not been credited.
It seems to me that a company capable of charging your card on the day of the order should be capable of crediting it just as quickly.
Today I checked the consumer complaints site and found that others have experienced the same rip-off, also with orders placed in December; what kind of SCAM are they pulling?
I wonder if their primary suppliers of medical support products is aware of their ripoff practices. They represent major name products like Jobst and Sigvaris, among others. You can be certain that I will make it a point to be sure they become aware ASAP.
