I click whiteovernite as one of the sponsor online and I was asked if I agree to try their trial version for paying only $3.95 for shipping. There has been no mention of an auto-shipment for continues reordering. I receive the trial product and did not receive any correspondence from the merchant that I agreed to their auto-shipment and they will automatically ship a regular product after the trial version is expired or for whatever number of days after I signed. They did not even provided an account number to me of which I can use to cancel if there was one. I signed the 7 days trial version last March 26 and after that I never receive any product until today May 19. I therefore believe that everything is okay but to my surprise the merchant made two charges on my credit card for $114.32 each on the same day.
So I called the 909 number and I always get an answering machine until I got hold of their 1-800-566-0959 number and was able to talk to a lady representative. I told her about the situation that I was unaware of that auto-shipment and did not even receive any product at all and I want my account (if there's any) cancelled and asked for reversal of the charges they made. She told me that she will total take out my name form the auto-shipment record and to my dismay she said that the charges could not be reversed even if I did not receive the product for I agreed to the auto-shipment (which I am unaware and did not truly agree) and even if I will return the product as well. She also said that the 2 charges were for April and May.
This is truly a crazy thing and I believe I am not the only victim to this strategy of this White Overnite. I tried to let that representative understand that I was unaware of any auto-shipment and I only signed to agreed for the shipping cost of $3.95 to their 7 day trial version but she will not listen and continue to insist that the charges could not be reversed.
I would just like to inform the public to watch out for this strategy and hopefully this company White Overnite will pay for the dishonesty and malicious act they were doing and is still doing until now.
