My mom signed up for Ultralife vitamins from the free trial back in april and recieved them up until september.
My mom decided not to receive them anymore and therefore I called the corporate office # and told them to cancel my account. (They didn't give me a cancellation number or inform me I needed one)
As a side note I just happened to notice the account info from the cd for the online access and checked it out. I noticed that my account was active. I was never told I had to cancel that separately and so I canceled and printed a copy showing the cancellation.
I checked my bank statement and noticed that they had NOT charged my card at the usual time and was relieved.
To my surpise later in the month I was charged the $44. I called them today (Oct 18th) and was asked for the cancellation # and was told that there was nothing that could be done because it was apparently my fault.
I was only asking for a refund of the $44 dollars as my mom was happy receiving the vitamins and they finally agreed to refund the money.in about 2-4 days I am told I will receive a credit.
If all goes well I will post with the success. (and a thanks to them for doing what's right)
