Some time in September I searched for a good file-sharing program that i could download off the internet. On the website, was featured -www.freemusicdownloads.com, I'm told by phone operators, that there is an add for newhealthysavings.com on which I apparently clicked and signed up. The initial fee was $1 and in turn I was charged, after 30 days, $79.95!
By then I had no recollection of why I was being billed. And since charge by proxy -billed by simpligada - I remained in the dark. Tired of the unknown charges and wanting my money, I called simpligada, found out on whose behalf they were billing me and asked for a cancellation. They offered to refund the transactions that took place in the last 60 days and gave me the number for newhealthysavings.
My complaint: No e-mail reminder from newhealthysavings for what services they offered, how to access the services, etc. I would place some blame for shady services on simpligada for not listing on whose behalf they're billing.
I lost probably over $100-160 to newhealthysavings. Message: Don't apply for savings online. The more you know, the more you save.
