The owner, Valerie Hawk-Hoffman is a dishonost person. She claims that her products could eventually be used to treat and manage major illnesses instead of conventional means. This goes against federal regulations regarding the use of botanical and nutritional supplements.
Her billing practices have also been in question for a while. She attempts to obtain payment from her customers for more products eventhough they do not order, request or receive them. She has been reported to the Connecticut State's Attorney's office, Department of Consumer Protection and Better Business Bureau on many occasions.initally, Valerie comes across very pleasant and helpful until she begins her sale pitch on her products. She then becomes pushy and will not take "No!" for an answer without embarassing her customers in front of others.
