My health insurance company "UnitedHealhcare" is not complying with the costumers claims. I can't find a way to get my claim to be processed because they say it doesn't show in their records. I mailed my claim with all the required information plus the receipt of the doctor's payment on September. Then after finding out they haven't received it, I mailed it a second time to the adress on the back of my insurance card on October.
Still, without any records of having received any of the letters I sent, they haven't respond to it yet. On November I called once again and they suggested me to fax the claim, which I did and they gave me this faX # 801 567 5497 and a code B 431 611 36364KAY.in this fax, I reminded them it is the third time I was trying to get my claim through with still no answers. Today I went to the UnitedHealthcare building in Sunrise, ands they weren't able to help me either. They told me the building was only for administrative purposes and no costumer's services available. I don't know what to do now. I need your help.
It is not the money that they owe me what bothers me since it is not a big amount, it is the fact that there is no one to even aknowledge my claim. Iam trying to not give up, because I feel this is what the company intends their costumer's to do in cases related to claims. Thank you.
