While in emergency, after one-and-a-half hours trying to find a human willing to say, "Okay, you have insurance, get help, " help was acquired. But, no, it seems that Kaiser does not pay insurance... Ever... And if you need help, you MUST go to a Kaiser facility, even if vacationing thousands of miles away. Their people are trained to be evasive and noncommital. Substantiating paper work goes unanswered and, well, you get the picture. Payables declares there is no coverage, while receivables receives thousands of dollars in premiums. You get the picture.
Had this happened once, but ten years ago, the same thing happened. For a trivial amount, Kaiser DOES NOT provide coverage. So, be warned... If you are with Kaiser and are traveling, you better have bucks in case somethings happens, because Kaiser is worthless.
Meanwhile, we received great care in Virginia and will pay out of pocket for the LIARS responsibility. May Kaiser go the way of Woolworth!
