Fraudulent and Misleading Chiropractic Billing Software Company

The customer states he purchased billing software from the company on 1-15-07, for use in his chiropractor's office. The customer states the company mis-represented her firm, her ability to perform what she sells, and she is not amenable to listening to her clients, nor, does she return calls or emails.
The customer states problems have plagued this product since purchase and install. He states Ms. Crowley, was seldom available to take time to listen to their problems. It was later discovered that Ms. Crowley is a one person show which explained her unavailability. However, she advertises 24 hour support which is physically impossible. It is also misleading as it eludes to her being a large and established company.
When finally speaking to her regarding problems, (after a great deal of pressure), customer has been told "too bad" and "there are no refunds whatsoever" and "the product would not be refunded no matter what the complaint".
Customer states the software would crash their office network if it ran more than 5 hours. It also required and additional expensive software to "launch" her EasyBilling program. He states no technical support was offered at any time. Ms. Crowley represented herself as a large company with 24 hr full service, Customer found out she is the ONLY person and there is no 24 hr full service.
An affliliate billing company is needed to properly bill insurance companies.
Ms. Crowley assured customer that her affiliate billing company, "Abrea" was comparable to WebMD and that she would transfer the systems to link with them. Ms. Crowley did not transfer systems to the affiliate company as promised, leaving that portion of work to the customers staff without training, resulting in lost time & expense. Ms. Crowley later admitted she did not know how to transfer the system.
In addition, it was later discovered that Abrea was also a one person show like Ms. Crowley, and that Abrea was operating out of New Jersey with a P.O. Box address only. The owner "Jeff" (last name unknown since Ms. Crowley would not reveal his last name when asked) could never be reached for help except one time... When he called for the credit card information.
Customer states phone calls seeking help, were promised but were seldom delivered as Marla was "unavailiable" or "on another line." Since Marla is a one person show and there is no support staff or programmers or tech support, this caused delays in the everyday work of his practice, including submission of client/patient billing and subsequent payments to his office.
Complaints are filed with the Attorney General's office in the States of New Mexico, New Jersey, and Massachussetts.investigations are in effect. A complaint with the FCC is also being filed and charges of internet fraud and mail fraud are being sought against Marla Crowley and EasyBilling Software.
It is the customers experience and belief that he was Professionally Scammed. This is different from "fly by night" scammers. A professional scammer can actually maintain a business within narrow scopes of law and REPEAT their misleading or criminal acts.
Most major chiropractic colleges and universities have been notified of this company and how it preys upon the doctors. Students newly graduating should be especially warned.
