I bought AngelBed Conformity-9 Mattress, pad and foundation in December. I was completely ripped-off in terms of product quality, behavior of supervisor and returning policy. Worst bed I have ever had (nothing like as they explained online, texting message and conversation on phone). Supervisor, Mr. Christophe is extremely rude, not ethical. They are not reliable about product quality and business policy as they explained online and on phone.

Originally, I was looking for firm mattresses that can support my lower back issue. I went to local stores (Sleepy’s, Bob’s and Raymour & Flanigan) to test memory foam that support my lower back and found Tempur-pedic Contour mattress is very firm and comfort for my back. Very next day, while I was reading about memory foam online, I found “AngelBeds” has same identical bed called “Conformity” and also, was offering financial incentive like Tempur-pedic. I started chatting through their home page to learn about their mattress. The guy who was texting me was Mr. Marcus. He confirmed me that they are using same NASA technology as Tempur-pedic’s memory foam and “Tempur-pedic” contour is identical to their “Conformity” in terms of firmness and comfort. He confirmed me that I can return it without any cost (no delivery cost and no returning shipping cost) if I am not satisfied with their product compare with Tempur-pedic. End of our texting, Mr. Marcus asked me to contact with him. I called him using their toll free number and asked for Mr. Marcus. I asked him same question on phone that I texted him in terms of quality, firmness, warranty and returning policy. He answered me same way that he did in text. I explained him specifically that I have lower back issue, so I am looking for very firm mattress like Tempur-pedic “Contour”, and he answered me that it is very firm mattress, no difference if you compare with Tempur-pedic Contour.

After receiving the foundation and mattress, we (my wife and I) found the foundation was very rough (few pieces of woods, screw and a single clothe), un - reliable and difficult to setup (instruction did not match) before opening the mattress box. I called customer service and spoke with Mr. Marcus about the foundation. He said that somebody would call me within few days.

Nobody called me within few days, so I had to call them again and explained the situation about foundation to Miss. Ronda. I also mentioned that “I did not open box for mattress yet, please make sure mattress is firm and comfort per description of Mr. Marcus, and it would not be like foundation.” Miss. Ronda said that she would refund for foundation, and mattress would be alright as Marcus explained. She asked me to through the foundation and no need to return. I was kind of confused about it. But she said that no need to be worried, you would get refund for it, just through it. Subsequently, Miss. Ronda transferred me to their supervisor, Mr. Christophe. Supervisor was not like customer service, Miss. Ronda. He was very rude and not businesslike.

Later on, we opened the mattress box and flatted it and found very very soft (totally different than Tempur-pedic Contour mattress) which is absolutely not good for my back. I was feeling very discomfort on it. Next day, I called and explained to their supervisor that this mattress is not even close to Tempur-pedic Countour, it is very soft which is hurting my back and completely different than the way your sales person, Mr. Marcus described. Mr. Christophe was pushing me to believe that their product (AngelBeds Conformity) as like as tempur-pedic contour firm mattress and asked me to use for a week to feel the firmness. I believed him and started using continuously. Day after day, my back pain has been increasing and feeling extremely uncomfortable since soft mattress does not support my back. After a week, I called their customer service and asked for Mr. Christophe and explained my back issue and asked him to arrange for returning. He started talking very rude. He did not believe me what I said. He mentioned that “you are making a story.” He said – customer has to use the mattress for 45 days before returning it, this is our business policy, you have to pack yourself in a box (it’s about 125 lbs mattress) and pay for shipping if you want to return it, what I was not told initially. He denied everything what I was told by Mr. Marcus and asked me to use it for another week to feel firmness. I paid big money for mattress, pad and foundation to feel comfortable for my back, not for increasing back pain. I called customer service after two weeks to find Mr. Marcus. Customer service took my message. Miss. Karen called me a several days ago and asked me to pack the foundation and find the Fedex label over email to send it to them. Good thing that I did not through foundation according to customer service, Miss. Ronda. I am waiting to be picked up this foundation. But they are not giving me any assurance for returning the mattress.

Different people are giving me different information about their business policy. They are not committed what they are mentioning. The products completely failed to satisfy me. I do not recommend anybody to buy from them if you look for good quality and firm mattress.
