I bought $4k value of furniture from American Furniture Factory. All-but one product was shipped promptly. I've needed to contact the shop 3 times (since no body in the shop has troubled to preserve me updated on my purchase) simply to be informed every time my shipping day hasbeen expanded many more months. The final cause my purchase was more postponed was since additional clients had requested this product before me (this really is simply the most recent justification). I will realize that. What I can not realize is just why I wasnot informed of this, or why AFW did not match offer, once they obviously understood exactly what the need was. After I named, the very first supervisor recommended I return all of the corresponding products (that have been already shipped, and which inconveniently provide you with a four-hour shipping period YOUR DAY BEFORE shipping in a cost of 7% of one's purchase) and "get another thing". After I requested to talk to another supervisor he explained he was "the only real supervisor within the shop". I reinforced my need to consult with another supervisor, therefore he "discovered one". The 2nd supervisor was worse compared to first! She was impolite, condescending, and had A SIGNIFICANT perspective, as though this really is my problem! She moved the fault towards the provider, in my experience the client, to everybody, but her or her workers. Today, I've to merely stay below and delay until my purchase might or might not come in. I actually bought anything in my own house for this one product. I got a cabinet in the product round the shop coordinating the remainder of my furniture to it. Why must I need to get another thing simply because they cannot harden a shipping day? More, would not providing me anything as easy as 10% off my next purchase be simpler than being so extremely rude about THEIR error? I'm so discouraged. Sadly, AFW merely doesn't care. They're a "factory" organization promoting large offer. I want I'd been informed before investing in items which are essential enough in my experience to stay my house.
I will understand mistakes happen. I can not know how they regularly occur, or how their supervisors are educated and continue being so rude to clients. I will assure the supervisors at AFW could be likewise disappointed when the functions were corrected. More, I had been NEVER provided $30.00 down as-is recommended in reaction to the large number of grievances being blogged about. On various websites re: AFW.
