Aisles

I was in the Target store near Belden Village in N. Canton. As I was trying to get to electronics from the pharmacy dept., I realized how unsafe the layout is, especially in case of fire or power outage, and particularly for the handicapped. Very few aisles go straight from front to back, because there are shelves cutting crosswise through the middle of the store.in the event of a problem, one would be "trapped" in the back half of the store trying to exit.

A manager said there were doors on all four walls, marked with green exit signs, adding that all the employees are aware of them. I pointed out that the customers are not aware of either the doors or the green signs, and the first inclination is to head for the front doors, where one came in. I feel the customers' safety is definitely compromised.

I realize renovation is costly, but so are people's lives.
