Before going to Ashley's furniture off of IH-10W in San Antonio I read the reviews. And they are bad reviews (bad customer service, item not in stock, etc.), BUT I still gave Ashley's the benefit of a doubt. My husband and I purchased a TV from Ashley's. Not to mention we were there for about 4hrs dealing with paperwork and by the time we got approved. Then they said they did not have the TV in stock and if we wanted to pay $100 plus dollars to get it delivered to us we could. We didnt want to pay that much for just delivery, so they told us we can pick it up at their warehouse wich is in New Braunfels, TX. I was already upset cuz we had to drive all the way out there. We got to New Braunfels after about an hour stuck in traffic. They ask us for our I. D (to verify we are the buyers), but the idiot over at the I10 location forgot to give us our I. Ds. So they have to call them to verify. Then we wait about another 30 min. They come back to tell us that the T. V is not in stock, after they assured us at the other location it was. So my husband and I are really upset for them making us go through all this trouble. They find one at the location off of Military and Zarzamora in San Antonio. So by the time you know it our whole day went by, all of Ashley's stores were about to close. The next day after work I had to drive all the way to the south side just to pickup a damn T. V and my husband had to go out of his way to get out of work to pick up our I. D's at the other location. I will NEVER EVER buy at Ashley's EVER again!!!
