Anyone thinking of getting a Home Depot credit card to save on any large purchase, think twice! We saved maybe 5% on flooring (that still hasn't been installed correctly 3 plus months later!)) and ended up on some 'list'. Since applying we have been INUNDATED with phone calls from contactors looking for work. Several calls each day, every day for months! And they are super aggressive and rude! When you apply you apparently get placed on a list and any business owner who pays a fee to Home Depot (or Lowes) gets access to this 'list'. I'd gladly pay that 5% savings to get off this damn list. And from what I understand, this will go on indefinitely. I love my Home Depot for daily needs. But NEVER again will I use it for anything else.
