Purchased a $2000 bedroom set for our 3 1/2 yr old twins. We were promised a phone call 2-3 hours before they dropped off the furniture. Phone call never came. My husband contacted the store at least 6 times through out that day to see what the status was of the delivery. Each time a sales rep advised us that they would call us back in 5-10 minutes. We were never contacted, not once. Finally my husband got a hold of the GM of the store here in Live Oak, Texas, The GM advised my husband that the driver had been to our home at 11:30am that morning for the drop off. Funny thing is they did not have our correct address or contact number. The GM promised us that our girls furniture would be delivered by 10pm that same day. No one ever showed up. The following day my husband went and paid Ashley Furniture a little visit and spoke to the GM. Needless to say he didnt care! The GM basically told my husband that we will have to wait another week for our furniture. The GM did not bother to compensate us for THEIR screw up or apologize for the ignorance of there employess and drivers. We have already had to wait a week for this bedroom set beacuse it is on back order now they want us to wait another week. We should have seen the big red flag when the sales rep that sold us the furniture was rude and a total BITCH!!
