I bought a Danco plumbing product at HD (a HD exclusive brand) and spent 3 hours and 3 phone calls to the manufacturer's tech service people trying to install it before giving up.
I found another product (Moen - a national brand) for about the same price and had it installed in 6 minutes using it's simple instructions.
I wrote a product review critical of the HD brand and critical of HD for carrying only this brand. It was rejected. I wrote another review, carefully constructed to avoid another rejection, but still calling a spade a spade. It was rejected again.
I wrote to HD via the feedback link on their website telling the their review acceptance policy was severely flawed and, as a result, their product reviews were useless to their customer.
Beware when reading any HD product review that they will not allow criticism of their products or policies.
