Wal-Mart refuses to honor their contract repairing my tablet with the 2 year extended warranty and also refuses to reimburse the full amount

I bought a Blackberry tablet, online at Wal-Mart.com, and the 2 year warranty on it that covers spills, accidental damages, defective parts and more. Its a 3 day fix warranty or money back.

I cracked the screen on it and called the number on the extended warranty (1-877-968-6391), but the people on the other side said I will only get a Wal-Mart e-Gift card of the merchandise amount and the tax. I said to them I want it repaired as the warranty states, or sent me another one, or refund me the full amount (including tax and the extra warranty I paid for). They said repairing the tablet is to expensive for them so they will only reimburse me for the product and the tax and they feel and quote We have filled any obligations on the warranty contract.

Now, when I bought the product, there was no mentioning on the contract that I will not get the product repaired or the full reimbursement for my product. How is that honoring the contract?

Even if I agree to take my money, its still a Wal-Mart eGift card, so I would have to buy another product from them with a new warranty that they will not honor because its to expensive for them. Meanwhile I would be caught in a loop of paying for extra warranty from Wal-Mart which does not get honored.

I have already spent 2 hours on the phone with them. They were very rude on the phone when you ask for your money back, (high pitched angry dominant tone.) I have spent over 1 hour researching people with similar treatment from Wal-Mart and solutions. I have not tried to get the product to a physical store, but I think I know what the answer will be and the attitude I will get for asking my money back.

What does some do on a situation like this? How can I get my product repair or the full amount back if they cant repair it? Is there a consumer website that will fine companies for not honoring their obligations? Is it worth taking them to a small claims court if they continue refusing to honor the contract?

I have spent to much time on this and it seems like there will be more time to be spent, and I cant believe I paid for this!!!
