I recently purchased a power wheels off of toyrus.com and chose store pick up because the it showed as available at that particular store online. I then received an email about a 2 hours later stating that my order had been canceled because the item was unavailable. The email also stated that I would not be charged for the item yet a hold was placed on my funds preventing me from going to another location to purchase. The CS rep on the phone told me that there was nothing I could do about it and I would have to wait at least 3 days for the funds to be released. If you don't have the item don't hold my money. I then had my brother purchase at another store in another city with his money because mine was being held. He also purchased the warranty and then tried to go online to activate it. Guess what? It did not work. He then tried calling CS to get some help. After going through the automated system and waiting on hold for god knows how long, he received the same terrible customer service as I did. The CS rep told him that he had made a mistake and purchased the wrong warranty for that particular item, even thought the pamphlet given to him stated that he had purchased the correct one. The CS rep then told him that he would have to go back to the store at which he purchased it (an hour from where he lives) to get it resolved. This is some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered in my life and I will not be going to this particular store chain again. I will also be sure to let all my friends and family know of this experience so that they do not suffer the same experience I am going through now.
