I put on my brand new beats headphones (my Christmas gift) and they snapped in two (only remained connected by a wire). The warranty center asked me many questions and I thoroughly described what happened and the condition of the headphones. The plastic broke in two right next to the silver/metal connector on the headphones.
The warranty center told me to ship the headphones to them at my expense and they would repair or replace them. I was relieved that they said they were going to do the right thing. Of course I wouldn't have spent $20 of my own money to ship them if they had not told me they would repair or replace them! I'm a teenager and I have a minimum wage job. Imagine my disappointment when they returned my broken headphones to me.
Beats by dr. Dre denied my warranty claim. They said the headphones were broken "due to usual wear and tear".
