Ripoff Selling products they do not have parts for and can not fix in a timely manner

Bought a Panasonic Model PT-50LC13 January 14. This is a expensive television. It is has a 1 year warantee. The lamp burned out and at time of our purchase we were told it would last 50,000 hours my the authorized dealer of Panasonic. Purchased at Herda's, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Panasonic does not have the lamp and can not give us no date of when we can expect it. It has now been 3 weeks since the TV failed. Most of the other manufactures have a policy of so many days and the television is replaced if they can not fix it. Example Sony is seven days and most of the others it is a maximum of ten days. We now get conflicting stories from store where unit was purchased. They state Panasonic says August 5. Which is another week and their authorized service center says it was sent day before yesterday. Kind of like "The check is in the mail".

This is our first experience with Panasonic and it cost me approximately $3000.00. It is unreasonable to have a $3000.00 monument in my home. It offers no artistic value at all
