I purchased a Panasonic Television Model PT-50LC13.

The set was purchased late August for $2900.

Late January the set went completely black. I went to the web and found my local Panasonic service center. At the same time I sent a complaint to Panasonic and they provided me with a case number.

When the technician came out he looked at the set and thought the lamp had gone out. He said they would order the parts.

About 4 weeks later they advised they needed to bring the set in to fix it. Why didn't they just take it to begin with. When they did pick it up they said they had the parts. I called them 2 days ago and they said they were still waiting for parts.

Also during this time I sent emails to Panasonic asking for follow up with no reply. I have had to make calls and continue to do follow up emails

Long story short the set is still not fixed and it is 2 months later. I have requested a new set, because clearly this thing is in need of major repairs and probably will be a problem set going forward

I used to buy Sony products and they never gave me a problem, I thought I would give Panasonic a try, what a mistake. If I ever get this set back I am going to sell it and buy a Sony.

This has been a terrible experience.
