I thought getting magicJack was a cost saving idea, but it did not work for me. At no time did I make a phone connection. I thought I did the smart thing by taking advantage of their 30 days trial period but I have since spent more time than necessary trying to get back on track with a usable phone service.
I sent the item back and I was told that I won't be billed. I had to register for phone service in order to try the product, and I have done the "chat" thing numerous times to tell them to cancel as the service did not work for me. They tell me it is cancelled, but each time I get back on chat to verify, I find out that I am being billed and it is not cancelled. Also my phone number is hijacked because my former phone company cannot retrieve the number from them so I must await a new number and reconnection.
In the mean time I keep getting emails stating that I have voice mail from magicJack. What must I do to get rid of them?
