Walmart advertised Emerson 32" TV on sale for $188 on front page of Black Friday Ad 2011. This model TV measures 31.5 diag BUT the actual watchable screen only measures 25" diag. This compares to a 25" TV that is priced at other stores for better brands and less money.
This TV is NOT a 32"
On the website specifications it describes the TV as a 32" but does not give the screen dimentions like they do for all other TV's they list on the site. An obvious ploy to hide the truth from the public.
They sold hundres of thousands of this model on Black Friday after having people camp out to get it in store only. I hope a lawyer picks up on this deception and file a class action suit for all the consumers ripped off tonight.
I bought 2. One as a gift that I gave and the one for my son. I am returning the one fro my son but cannot return the gifted one. I feel terrable as the person I gave it to was dissapointed because the screen is 7 full inches smaller than any other 32" TV on the market.
This was a complete RIP OFF!!!
