The Samsung SCH-R910 provided by MetroPCS is a serious lemon. The phone heats up unnaturally and fries the 4G LTE radio. Sometimes the 3G continues to work but is usually only 1x.
When taking the phone to MetroPCS, even if the phone is still under it's original 1 year warranty, MetroPCS charges you between 10 and 30 dollars to get a warranty replacement. Even first year!
There are numerous Android posts about this problem and it appears that Samsung has not been able to fix the problem.
