I purchased a Droid phone from Verizon Wireless mid August and they were advertising a special for Buy one get one free. I was not sure I would like the phone and was advised by their representative that I had 30 days to make up my mind. Today I called and spoke with a young lady first and she told me should would call me back within 30 mins to an hour. When I did not hear from her I made another call and this time I spoke with Shawn. He put me on hold to verify information and then came back and told me that the BOGO offer has expired. He said they could give me a gift card for $100.00 and only charge me a balance of $99.00. Advised him that is still costing me $99.00 when I was suppose to pay nothing. I suggested that they pull their tape and listen to what his work associate had advised me last month and they should honor their agreement. He said he would put in a request for them to pull the tape and a manager may call me. Then it was done. That is how they resolved my issue/problem. I am very disgruntle because I have been with the same company long before it was Alltel, 306 communications and had the same lines. I pay my bill in a timely fashion and I have 5 phones on my invoice. I don't feel like they treated me as a customer should be treated.
