I ordered a FujiFilm S700 online from Butterfly Photo (www.butterflyphoto.com). I got an email asking me to confirm my credit card number. I called, and a guy by the name of JOEY answered, sounding very friendly and pleasant. He told me he would throw in two extra lenses for FREE, along with a UV-filter for the camera. He said that this was all at NO EXTRA COST. He said that he'd throw it all in because I was a first-time buyer.
I got my credit card bill, and the cost of the order was $200 more than it was supposed to be! I called them, and they said that I ordered one lense, and the other one came free with it because of some special offer. BS!
When I told him no, that he had said he would throw it in for free, he got all snotty with me. He said "Let me ask you a question. You're a college student right?" I'm like, "yeah.." and he's like "Why would I, on a $500 order, throw in free lenses?" I was like "You said that you would because I was a first time buyer!" And he insisted that no, I had ordered the lenses.
I intentionally used butterflyphoto because it was the cheapest price I could find - $500 - but it turns out I would have spent way less going to a more expensive place, because of the ripoff scam! It ended up costing me $700.
The people at Butterflyphoto are scam artists, they say they will throw stuff in for free, but then charge you for it. They act nice, but it is all a trick.
By the way - they are listed on my credit card bill as BDD SOLUTIONS. So I guess they also go under that name too.
