On June 1 I ordered on-line from ChatandVision an Itech EasyChat 360 (It is a blue tooth to go along with Skype Program on computer for audio).
When I received product (June 3), it did not charge on my computer. I took it to my nearest Staples store, and had their computer technician check product on my laptop (which I took with me) and on their computer. The product still did not charge on either computer. Was advised to return it. I returned the product on June 4. On June 6 I submitted an RMA form to them to process.
Many e-mails have been exchanged since then requesting my refund. Every week I send an e-mail requesting my money back; they (ChatandVision) in turn respond by saying: Received merchandise-RMA will review; RMA did review-found product o.K., do I still want refund or another product; Received my request for refund and will process; Is processing claim; Will prioritize claim; Will process shortly; Will receive refund in 3-5 business days; Will receive refund in 3-5 business days (last email sent from them 8/03).
As of today, 8/11, still no refund returned to me. I sent them yet another e-mail today, but my response for the last two weeks have been "will receive refund back into your account in 3-5 working days".
They have been playing a game for over two months and refuse to refund my money to me. They Lie in their e-mails, and they give no phone contact information.
They have their merchandise (was returned within 3 days), why can't I get my money back. I have filed a claim with Bureau of Consumer Affairs (no results) and with my bank (was told it would take them three months to determine if I was entitled-why wouldn't I be?).
Please help me recover my money from this rip-off, inconsiderate and "preying on consumers" company.
