A google search will come up with countless, meaning at least 60 complaints about Masonite doors. Many of the complaints come from people who bought their doors at Home Depot. From 2003 to the present Masonite has been hawking it's inferior doors at Home Depot with fancy displays (which they pay extra for) and glossy handouts. Masonite exterior doors in some cases are priced three times more than other doors in Home Depot. It appears that Masonite essentially not honoring any of its door warranty's. Home Depot will do nothing either.
I would not advised anyone to even shop at Home Depot due to their policy to sit idly while customer warranties are ignored.
