Received phone call saying our account shows we have toner and they want to get it out to us before the price increases. At the time I was fielding several calls regarding our copy machine (just got a replacement machine from a recent office flood) so I assumed they were from Konica as that's who we have an account with. At no time did the woman say she was NOT. I feel for their trick but didn't realize it until the bill came shortly after I had already received the toner. We paid the bill b/c we had accpeted the toner however I called EDC and informed them that their marketing practices were deceptive and to remove us from the calling list. Now I just received a call from them saying we have more toner on the way so I asked them to cancel the order/account or whatever they had created to bill our company. I was told I couldn't cancel the order with no reason as to why not. So I said I would refuse the other toner and not pay them for services we don't need and were deceived into using. Not a good experience.
