I was contacted by someone who said that they where from my printer company and that they had raised the price on the toner and color toner from $389 to $11 and that they were obligated to sell us the black and white toner and color toner at the old price.
After receiving only the black and white toner I received a bill for $397.86, part of which was $48.86 for shipping and handling. The bill was sent to our Accounts Payable department and I was told that we do not have an account with this company.
I called the company and no one answered the phone. I called our copier company and was told that they do not change us for toner and that Summit Office Supply had perpetrated the very same scam on other companies.
I immediately wrote Summit Office Supply a Fax which did not go through. I mailed the toner back to the company and sent them a letter stating that they sent the wrong toner for our machine and that our copier company has informed me that they have nothing to do with Summit Office Supply.
