I was in Home Depot to purchase a washer and dryer. I decided on the Maytag and was going to purchase the item that day. I walked in the door and, to my surprise, there were plenty of workers. I have not been in a Home Depot in years because of their customer service. I was walking through the store and no one said a word, like "Could I help you?" I walked around and did not see any washer or dryer except one. I asked if that was the only one, and a salesperson explained they were upstairs (I did not know they had one).
I was upstairs with three other people looking around, with no salespeople. I was there 15-20 minutes, and no one helped me or the other people. I walked back down 20 or more steps to find a salesperson and asked if she could please get me some help. The person said yes and called a salesperson to help. The salesperson was on her way up but was distracted by another couple needing help. I walked back upstairs and waited another 20 minutes with no help in sight.
I walked back downstairs as I had to use the restroom. When I walked out of the restroom, I left the store. No one asked if I needed any help as I walked past at least 6 people who had on Home Depot uniforms. Wow, I really wanted that Maytag washer and dryer.
