Ordered a $100 remote controlled off-road truck from NitroRCX for a X-mas present only to receive a product that wouldn't work. Notified NitroRCX about the issue and they sent an e-mail giving vague instructions on how to solve the problem. Unfortunately, they're suggestion didn't work. After spending 30 minutes on hold waiting for customer service, I finally got thru to a rep who said that he would send me a replacement part which should fix the issue. After waiting 10 days without receiving the part and getting close to the end of the vehicle's warranty, I sent them another e-mail requesting a Return Authorization. No response. Finally, I had to escalate the issue to my credit card company to dispute the charges. So now I am having to return a defective product that never worked out-of-the-box and am going to end up paying shipping charges and a 15% restocking fee. After looking on their forum website, RCDiscuss.com, it appears that this is a very common occurrence with this company. Buyer beware!
