Around the holidays I wanted to buy my son a long life battery for his HP Pavilion laptop. After searching locally, I decided to buy online and found one at Xtreamgadgets.com. I ordered a DV6700 which is the identical model on my existing battery and received the unit 4 days later with no issues. To my dismay, the battery DID NOT FIT in the laptop! I then saw on the box that it was a DV not a DV6700. I emailed Xtreamgadgets and through several emails, they insisted they sent the correct battery, but how can it be the correct battery if it doesn't fit in the laptop??? I asked if I could call them and find out which is the right battery that will fit? They said they have no phone support and refused to call me so I could get the proper replacement. "Estore Sales" continued to send emails saying to ship the unit back and they will send a replacement but without talking to them on the phone, I was not about to try again to get the right unit when the sent the wrong one in the first place. They said they will not refund any shipping, and they said they would make me pay a restocking fee if I don't return the unit within 15 days! This is outrageous, it was completely their error in sending the wrong product and now I am out about $18 on shipping charges to send the wrong unit back to them! It was so tedious trying to get them to understand anything through my emails, they just kept insisting they were right and I was wrong! In the end, they did refund my money but made me pay all the shipping charges. Please do not do business with this company, I learned a hard lesson buying something from a site without a phone number!
