My HP Pavillion tx2500 crashed, dead 38 days after the warranty expired, and just over 2 years since purchased. To be exact, the CPU crashed. It probably was burned to death because this machine always ran hot. HP has refused to take responsibility, but I am sure they know it's defective. There is a Class Action Law Suit currently being settled by NVIDIA, but my model is not included. A laptop should last for more than 2 years. I have a that is 6 years old that runs great. Sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company. Plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome.
