I've a gas stove, XL44 in excellent problem. I personally secured the doorway so when it had been revealed the stove nevertheless believed it had been secured and wouldn't switch on. I paid $97 to get a GE specialist to come quickly to the home. He identified the stove as requiring a brand new control cell (a $300 fix). He used five minutes below and he did nothing, did not consider something, pushed several switches about the range. My buddy got within the following day, required the leading screen down to locate the catch the latch must strike when revealed wasn't being struck from the lock. It had been a-2 second fix. I named GE to protest that first the technology did NOTHING and minute he identified the stove as requiring $300 value of function. I expected to get a reimbursement however they would not recognize. Used to donot obtain an apology or something want it. Actually, they invested the whole telephone call fighting with me. I'm ashamed by the corporation and certainly will never buy a GE item again. It had been the toughest customer support I've previously experienced.
