Dewalt does not stand behind its products. I purchased a Dewalt Compound Miter Saw. The warrantee is only one year for a very expensive power tool. A piece of metal came off the armature part of the motor. This is clearly a defect according to the service center. Dewalt would not send me a replacement armature because I am over the warrantee period, nor would they offer any support what-so-ever. I will choose a better manufacturer of power tools next time and so should you. Beware of Dewalt. They talk a good game, but when it really counts, they fail to stand behind their products. I am out a ton of money with no recourse.
