Virgin Mobile's low prices are just bait to suck draw customers and steal their money. I have had Virgin Mobile service for many years and have always had issues with the occassional miscellaneous charge and vanishing minutes.
In the past year, VM's service has become absolutely ridiculous. Almost every month this year I have had to dispute a charge on my account. At first it was just a few dollars. Recently, it has been $10 to $40. Most of the time they issue a refund but sometimes they will not.
I contacted VM recently about a charge on my account that I did not authorize. Even though the balance on my account exceeded the amount of the charge, the rep. Told me that I could not get a full refund because I had already used 10 minutes. I filed a Paypal dispute and they decided in my favor. VM must do this a lot because Paypal made the decision in just one hour.
I've given up on VM and switching to another phone company. I will gladly pay more for a honest celluar provider. When I think about how much money VM screwed me out of, I realize I am not getting the best deal.
