Employee company terrible place to work horrible place to buy

Where to begin,
i saw an add on craigslist for verizon wireless and decided to submit my resume. I was shocked in the time it took them to call me in for an interview (not but a few hours) once i came in for my interview that lasted not more then two minutes i left and was called back and hired the following day. Great i thought. On my first day i was being trained by someone i felt i could outsell not having any wireless experience. During training he would often need to ask s omeone else the answer to many of the questions. At the time i thought great more money and sales for me. Little did i know i would be standing around for hours on end as maybe three or four customers would come into the store per day later i woulder i found out why) neways after my few days of "training" i was given store keys and left to close the store bymyself. Being a new hire alot of the scams n fraud i did not catch on to later. They made my sign there "contract" which later i found out was a bible sized packet of cleverly worded documents to steal ur money with things like "key deposits" and "equipment charges" all of which was said to be given back but i still have not gotten my money (almost three hundred dollars tht is automatically taken from ur checks) i called amir bashia one of the "partners" as to when i will be recieving this money back he simply laughed and told me to call a lawyer. As for commision which going in was told average reps make between 1000 and 1400 i was shocked when at the busiest store my check was no more then 500. (which i had to wait 3months before i even saw) after a while i thought things were running pretty smooth and i actually got promoted in 3months! Great i thought wrong! A promotion is nothing more then a 50cent raise and now your practially there slave having to drive phones back n forth to other store in your own car using your own gas. Meanwhile the district manager (toni moreles) sat in an office drove a mercedes in which the owners paid for sending out threatening emails everyday on "get the job done or we will replace you" some motivation. Then the changes started happening. The commision structure went to you get paid what you sell to in order to get paid the entire company (9stores) had to hit a certain new line quota. Not hard they say but in the exception to the schaumburg and rolling meadows store that did about 30 a month (on a great month) had to hit 260 as a whole. When the other slower stores
were lucky to get 15 to 20. Needless to say this was an almost impossible number to reach.

We actually to everyones surprise came close one month. Untill they decided to change it again (mid month) the new commision structure was in order to get paid as a salesrep you need to get 16 new lines for yourself. An impossible task for many store only doing 15 new lines as a store. So basiclly only 3 to 4 reps at the busiest stores would get paid. All the left over money going straight into the owners amir bashia, andrew guizlar, and brad churches pockets so they can afford to drive around in there brand new 2011 lincoln mkz'

As reps we are told to sell what is in stock which most of the time are the phones no one wants and have been sitting on the shelves collecting dust. Everything is overpriced a new home charger will run you 40bucks which they pay 3dollars for and will most likely break on you within a month (i went throught 2myself) cases n pouches break and stretch out within weeks. And with there no return policy theres nothing you can do about it. Often i would have to tell the customer "sry i know you just bought this yesterday and it doesnt work but theres a no return policy" you can only imagine the number of angry customers i would have to deal with. (one of the many greatg advantages of making 50cents more and being a "manager") if they did decided to actually please a customer with a return or exchange be prepared to wait a good 2 to 3 weeks before you see any money back to you. Same with phones the tiniest scratches we cant exhange the phone. They actually said "you need to find a reason not to take any phones back" so the little old lady that took the manual out of the plastic gets turned around and sent on her way. With little more then a"sorry now we cant resale this" i can go on all day with this but my hands are starting to hurt. Long story short this is a terrrrrible place to work and an even worst place to buy.
