I purchased a garmin nuvi1300 and installed it in my vehicle.
After about 1 month or so as I was driving along one day the unit went black and was completely dead.
I returned it to the retailer for another one.
Now, once again within a month or so the new unit has ceased to function properly. The speed display in lower right corner and the status bar across the top get stuck on whatever and it never updates.
Garmin's lovely tech support department (RUSS) took about 30 minutes to answer the phone and promptly hung up on me.
Calls to their administrative offices went un-returned
I will never ever buy another garmin anything in my life.
