Global Outdoor Concepts, ourdoor weather resistant HD TV, this compnay had me deposit a cashier's check into their bank account for $2500 and told me I was getting a brand new TV and remote. But what I got was a USED remote, that didn't work and wasn't even the correct remote for my TV. So I contacted them, at first they gave me the run around and I had to wait a week to be able to speak with somone that could help me, then after more run around they told me to send them back the remote at my expense, when the shipping charges were supposed to be free, well it's not so free when you have to send something back at your own expense. Then once they got it back they claimed it was not the remote they sent me and tried to blame it on my cable guy switching remotes, which was absurd! When I complained about their customer service they threatened me and told me that if I did not retract what i said then they would not send me a new working remote. They told me to send back the Tv for a refund, but if they said the remote I sent them wasn't the remote they sent me, then how can I trust them to send back the Tv to them, what iof they tell me the same thing about the TV, that it's not the one they sent me, I've already paid them $2500, how would I be able to prove I sent them back the correct TV. I think this might be their scam, get you to send back the TV and then say it;s not the one they sent you and keep your money and then your really screwed! So now I have to drive to Las Vegas from California to sue them in small claims court, because as of today they have not sent me a new working remote and they refuse to answer my emails. They also claim the Tv looks good in the sun light, but it doesn't! So now I have a $2500 TV with no remote that I can't change channels for, that doesn't really look that great in the sun light and I'm out $2500! I saw the same TV at Wal-mart for $500, what they do is buy cheap Visio's and then make then weather resistant (which has still yet to been seen too) by altering their outer casing. This is why they can sell them so cheap. But you get what you pay for because now I don't even have a remote for my TV! If they end up responding I will update this website, but for now it looks like small claims court is the only way to deal with this company!!!
