About 3 years ago, my daughter gave me a phone for Father's Day and signed me up as an authorized user of her primary cell phone account with T-Mobile. Since then, about 9 months ago, she is no longer with T-Mobile and has given them her permission to T-Mobile to change the account responsibility to me as the primary account owner.
After contacting T-Mobile about 9 months ago and requesting this change, they failed at that time to change the account ownership, even though they were aware that my daughter is no longer affiliated with them and that I wished to continue as a customer and be responsible for the account.
Several months ago, I contacted T-Mobile again, and, requested that they update their records to reflect the change of account ownership and to direct the bill to the correct billing address. They changed the billing address, but, did not update the ownership records. The bill still comes in my daughter's name, even though she is no longer a customer of T-mobile, or, in any way connected to their company.
I have spoken with T-Mobile's Customer No-Service Department several times since then, my daughter has called and spoken with them, all to no avail. I cannot believe that a company could treat a customer this way and expect to stay in business. All I want them to do is correct the details of the account to accurately reflect the current owner of the account and mail me the bill to my correct billing address. It's just that simple.
I have no problem paying the bill when it comes and no problem with the service rendered. I just want them correct their records for accuracy. That's all. Is that too much to ask?
