Dear Mr. Lampert,
I'm writing for you to state my discomfort and disappointment attempting to solve an issue having a damaged wire having a Builder 9hp, 28” two-level snowblower bought about 5 years back.
Fourteen days ago, the wire that handles among the chute instructions (left-to-right) smashed. I approached Sears to-order an upgraded wire and was informed it'd charge $100. The main reason provided was the wire is section of a whole chute handle construction. Consequently, a $1-5 product might charge $100 – a cost that's about 1/8th the cost taken care of the whole snowblower.
Although I clearly realize there perhaps production benefits if somebody buys total components after which assembles the entire device from these elements. Not to permit alternative of items which may easily split leaves the price to correct a little element using this globe! I'm hit from the price to correct this wire and experienced you had a need to realize that this client believes this method is undesirable.
I've been a large supporter of Sears – purchasing my machine, dryer, dishwasher, two appliances and several additional home items from you during the last 3-5 years. This once great connection is known as into issue when the items I buy charge that much to correct. I trust you completely understand the accurate price of possession to get a client isn't precisely what they spend upfront. It requires preservation and replacement parts.
I'd consult your workplace to appear into this problem and suggest a far more suitable means to fix repair my snowblower. Obviously, it's still raining within this area of the globe and that I might welcome a fast quality for this issue.
Truly,
Paul
