Im sorry if this complaint is in the wrong category, but i couldnt find anywhere else to put it.

I was trying to download something on xbox from a game. I have a gold xbox live account, so i should be able to do this. Everytime i would attempt to download the content for this game, a message would come up saying, "you have a new message from xbox live. You need to read this message before signing in with this account. "it would give me an option to read the message by pressing A. I pressed a and it would bring up the account settings page in the 360 xbox live menu. There was no message to read. Well, this didnt seem like a big idea so i looked on the xbox support website and the xbox forums and couldnt find anything about it. After a few hours of trying to download it (and having the same results) i decided to call customer support and talk to someone about my problem 1 on 1. I talked to some guy, i didnt get his name, for about 20 minutes, explaining my problem. He was very patient, but he had no idea had no idea what to do about it and kept putting me on hold. Eventually he switched me to a girl named Amanda, and she too, put me on hold. Then, either my call was dropped or they hung up on me. I tried to call back, but the robot that talks to you before you talk to an agent told me they close at 10:00. I started my call at 11:45ish...
