Exact same experience as previously reported and I am glad I checked here to verify that my experience is consistent with others'. My Slingbox worked fine initially but I had to contact them three times during my 90 days for their help to get the thing up and running again. Of course I never equated this to the updates because I never used the thing very frequently and they're ALWAYS coming up with updates.
Now they want $30 every time they talk to you and you'll spend forever fishing through their flack to find what you have to reset to get the thing working again after they disable it for you. Nice business model if they continue to get away with it!
Buyer BEWARE!!! And if you do buy the thing, DON'T accept updates!
