Cellphone replacement warranty fraudulent misrepresentation

On 6-21-09, I purchased AT&T 2 year cellular service commitment for 3 telephone numbers at Radio Shack. I was able to get 2 LG Vu and 1 Samsung A777 at a reduced price because of the commitment.
At the time of the purchase, the store manager discussed a replacement warranty plan with me and represented this plan as identical to the previous plan we had with our old phones. I made it exceptionally clear that I wanted a plan that would replace the phone under any circumstances because my wife was hard on her phone and we had replaced hers at least twice for damage in the last commitment term.
The store manager indicated that this plan was identical with the exception of a mail in requirement to repair or replace the phone. I agreed and paid the one time fee of $59 per phone.
On 11-24-09, The screen on the Samsung A777 failed. I turned it in to RS and it was sent for repair. Got the phone back today 12-8-09. The repair order says the unit is not repairable under the terms of the warranty due to damage (Cracked LCD). The RS store associate said my warranty does not provide service or replacement for damage.
I'm going to report this to the Ohio Atty. General. I feel like I've been fleeced, and I would cancel my contract with AT&T for allowing this behavior by their distributor: Radio Shack.
