Cell Phone Fraud

The last week in July I went to the Alltel store in Shallotte, and paid $300.00 for a purple Razor cell phone. Two weeks later, the speaker malfunctioned. When I went back to the store, it was no longer Alltel, and had been purchased by Cellularsales, an authorized Verizon agent. I met, Mike Baker, (managing partner) and he assured me that I would get a new phone as a replacement, but they could not access Alltels old information. He asked me to come back in a few days once the store was up and running. (they were doing constrution, etc during the transistion) A few days later, I came back in, and spoke with John Fuller. John contacted Mike Baker, and he ordered my new phone. I left my old RAZOR with John, and John gave me a loaner phone until my new phone arrived. A few days later, my new phone arrived and John called me. I went into the store in Shallotte, and picked up my new purple phone from Verizon. At that time I inquired about getting a Blackberry. The agent called Mike and Mike said he would sale me his personal used Blackberry for $150.00. He told me to come in the next day. The agent told me to use the loaner phone, and not to open the new purple Verizon phone because I could sale it on ebay and make some money back. The next day, August 13 I went into the store, Mike was there, I paid him $150.00 cash for his phone and they connected it. He also added handset insurance to the BlackBerry.

I have since then connected the purple verizon phone to another number on my account. I received my statement and I noticed I was billed $250.00 for an equipment charge! I called Verizon, and I was charged for the replacement phonethe purple Verizon phone. On October 22, I emailed Mike Baker the following:

Mike,
I know you are getting tired of hearing from me, however, I am the lady who had the broke razor from Alltel. Your staff was kind enough to replace the phone with a new Verizon phone and you even sold me your personal used Blackberry phone. (which I love) However, when I received my bill today, I was charged $250 for the replacement phone. This was suppose to be an exchange for my RAZOR from Alltel that I had for 2 weeks before it malfunctioned. I have called customer service, and they are saying it is showing up as an equipment charge. I have been speaking with a Will, employee ID# 26252. Please help me in making this right! I am NOT suppose to have this charge on my account.

Will, the associate called Corporate and they informed us that you are an agent of Verizon. I am getting very frustrated, and I need you to call me ASAP please.

Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry
Mandy, his associate, did call me that day and informed me that she would help me.

I never heard back from either of them.

I also emailed them on November 6 and November 11 th. I called three of his stores and left messages for him to call me as well. On Tuesday November, 24 th, I did get up with Mandy. She informed me that she would call her account manager because Mike was on a cruise. She called me back that evening and said she would have to call him in the morning on November 25 th. On November 25 th, I sent her a text, and she said she called in from work because her child was sick. I have not heard back from Mandy.

I had to pay $250.00 today because my phone got turned off because I did not pay the $250.00 for the phone I should have never been charged for.

So, Mike got $300 from for my Razor, PLUS he has my Razor, and $250 for my purple Verizon phone. Now, December 3 the BlackBerry that he sold me for $150.00 is broken, and will not work.

I did call Verizon directly, and they are looking in to the matter. I am also obtaining a warrant for his arrest for: "Obtaining Property Under False Pretense"...
