Around October I bought a cell phone from Sprint in Royersford Pennsylvania. The purpose of this phone was so my than 25 year old step daughter would be able to contact me while I worked night-shift and she watched my 2 year old son. I also told her as part of her pay she could use up to $150 a month and that than the phone would shut off. I stoped in Sprint to see if they had pre-paid phones and they talked me into this instead (it seemed like a good enough idea)
I made Sprint put right into my contract that after $150 it would shut off they assured me I could do this when I bought it. It even says right on my bill that "this account has a $150 limit"!
This worked well for the first couple months they actually shut the phone off every month as planned.
However the 4th month I opened my invoice and was shocked to see that I owed them almost $600!
Needless to say I was shocked and upset (I had a contract) so here I am 2 years later hour after hour on the phone, and the only thing I can say is that sprint does not care about a legal written contract, you can't even get there legal department on the phone. And the highest ranking person that I ever talked to said that they did me a favor of extending my credit limit 3 times the contract amount. A favor?
I even had calls on there from to New York that Amanda said she never made. I called the people and they never heard of her. Sprints answer to this is to make a written a complaint about each and everyone (like I have time for that)
To make a long story short I have never gotten anywhere they want their money and they turned me into collections agent who even jacked on more fees, They hide behind there phones like a bunch of cowards and they put you on hold forever if you try to get someone who can make a decision. Besides dealing with the government I never knew such greed and incompetence existed. I would never recommend doing any business with them. Because even in writing they just do as they want!
